He is an attorney with a Law Degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a post-graduate degree in business from the Universidad Católica Argentina.
His areas of specialization include Construction and Engineering Law, Energy Law, Latin American Contract Law and Regional Integration Law.
He is a founding member of the Permanent Forum of Jurists and Comparative Law Associations of MERCOSUR, of the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo's Institute for Latin American Integration, and of the San Martín Forum for American Integration, and is a member of the Argentine Association of Comparative
Law, of the Southern Cone Idea Corridor, of the Forum for the Unification of Private Law, of the International Institute of Public Law, International Relations and Integration Law of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association, and is Guest of Honor and Academic Representative of the National University
of Cuyo in Buenos Aires.
He has served as Secretary-General of the Argentine Chapter of the ILO-sponsored International Industrial Relations Association, Undergraduate Professor and Director and Post-Graduate Professor at the University of Buenos Aires, as Projects Director for the United Nations Development Program, as
President of the Swiss-Argentine Chamber of Commerce, as Legal Adviser to the Argentine Railway Union, as well as to engineering and construction companies for their work in Argentina and the rest of Latin America. His is currently an adviser to the Argentine Construction Chamber and a Partner at
the Estudio Julio César Crivelli - Asesores Jurídicos.
In his professional career, he has directed and participated in the designing and negotiation of turnkey contracting systems with financing for business developers or on a B.O.T. or B.O.O. project basis and from major infrastructure works in Latin America, in the fields of mining, electric power
(thermal, hydro and nuclear), oil and gas, telecommunications, real estate development, industrial and commercial facilities, rail, air, and land and marine transport, and buildings and civil works complexes.
He has designed and directed corporate, contract and project re-engineering processes under general or specific crisis circumstances.
He has also designed systems for solving differences by alternative means and has intervened in the resolution of controversies in both private and public law and in various countries throughout the Americas.
